This is a reminder that there will be no school tomorrow, Friday, May 22nd and no school on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.
School will resume on Tuesday, May 26th.

This is a reminder of the Senior Awards Reception tomorrow May 20th at 6:00pm in the BHS Auditorium. Please verify with your student if they are receiving an award and we look forward to celebrating their accomplishments with you!
As we work together to maintain a dynamic and focused educational environment at BHS, we want to share a brief reminder regarding our school dress code expectations. Please review the following key reminders from the BHS Administrative Guide with your student before they leave for school each morning regarding prohibited attire:
Cut-off style shorts, boxers, spandex.
Tank tops, cut-off shirts, crop tops.
Clothing that displays the midriff.
Garments with excessive rips/holes or rips/holes in immodest places.

Senior students will be able to take their graduation yard signs home after commencement on June 4th.

Due to the deep concerns regarding the safety of the roads, and based on weather reports of severe high winds and poor weather conditions affecting our busses, and the likelihood of power outages due to 50 mile per hour winds, Bridgeport-Spaulding Community Schools will be closed today.
There will be a PTO meeting on Wednesday, March 11th, 5:30pm at Atkins Elementary School. Please find the schedule for the remainder of this school year attached.

Due to today's half day and many of our program student performers needing transportation, we need to reschedule our Black History program to Tuesday March 10th at 6pm. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you then!

Please be prepared to pick up or expect your child home early tomorrow with schools releasing students at the following times:
Middle School - 10:40am,
High School - 11:00am,
Atkins Elementary - 11:45am
Thomas White - 11:50am.

Middle School Boys Basketball Parents...
Please take note of the following adjustment to tonight's schedule.
Tonight's 8th Grade games AT NOUVEL HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. The 8th grade will practice after school until 4pm, like any other non-game day.
HOWEVER
Tonight's 7th grade games AT ATKINS ARE STILL ON. The 7th Grade A team will play first at 4:30pm, followed immediately by the B team.
