Wishing a warm Bearcat Welcome to our new BHS Varsity Football Coach. Welcome to Bearcat Country Coach Beverly! My name is Richard J. Beverly your new Bridgeport High Varsity Football Head Coach, I look forward to this great opportunity to work with your organization and to develop our student athletes into champions on and off the field. I am a life time resident of Saginaw County and played football at Arthur Hill c/o '86. I am also a retired U.S. Army reservist with an honorable discharge. I have coached football and basketball for boys at all levels in Saginaw County for 28 years, which 23 of those were on a volunteer basis. I am currently employed at the State of Michigan and in my spare time I am an on line Non-Denominational Pastor. I truly believe we will have a successful season, physically strong, mentally strong, Bridgeport strong. Thank you for this opportunity, Coach Bev.
